The LACCD Office of Inspector General (OIG) maintains a Whistleblower Hotline for reporting of allegations of fraud, waste, or abuse related to our $5.7 Billion Dollar Bond Program. We encourage contractors, consultants, employees and the public to speak up about any issues related to the Building Program without fear of reprisal. The OIG Whistleblower Hotline is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week and is operated by a third party contractor in order to maintain confidentiality.

When you contact the Whistleblower Hotline, please provide as much detailed information as possible concerning your allegations, including:

  • Location of occurrence
  • A detailed description of the alleged misconduct or policy violation(s)
  • The effect of the allegation, such as dollars lost, delay produced, etc.
  • The date(s) when the event(s) occurred
  • Copies of relevant documents that support the allegation
  • The identity of any witness(es) to the event(s)
  • Copies of relevant documents that support the allegation
  • Whether anyone else has already reviewed the allegation
  • An address and telephone number of a named complainant and whether the complainant wishes confidentiality

If you wish to have the Office of the Inspector General contact you, please provide your name, phone number and email address, along with your preferred method and time for contact. If you wish to remain anonymous, you may do so by omitting all personal information. To the extent permitted by law, the Office of the Inspector General will treat all information as confidential including the identity of persons coming forward to file reports.
